Welcome Back, Abbie!
As we begin a new semester at Greenhouse Studios, we asked both new and returning students to share a bit about themselves, their summer experiences, upcoming goals at GS, and broader career aspirations. This response is from Abbie Robinson, one of our SFA Undergraduate Research Assistants.
In this semester at Greenhouse Studios, I am excited to be working on our project with the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving for their upcoming 100-year anniversary. While I just started working here a few months ago, I have deeply appreciated the Studio’s collaborative nature and being able to bounce ideas around with others. I can’t wait to continue to put my communication skills to practical use and help share the stories of others. This summer I worked as a Marketing Intern, and it was an extremely valuable experience for me because now I know that I don’t want to go into marketing. I am looking forward to my work here at Greenhouse Studios helping me expand my horizons and explore more options for my future career. In addition to my extracurriculars, this semester I am working on a podcast, Timely Topics, at the Connecticut Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. I am excited to use this experience to gain skills that will be crucial for my future career, whatever it may be.
