Marisol Ramos

Marisol Ramos is the Digital Scholarship/ Humanities and Social Sciences Librarian at the Homer Babbidge Library. She has a B.A in Anthropology from the University of Puerto Rico, an M.A. in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from SUNY-Albany and an M.L.I.S from UCLA. Currently, she is a doctoral student at the Literatures, Cultures and Languages Department at UConn. Her subject specializations include Latin American and Caribbean Studies, Latino Studies, Spanish, Sociology, and Anthropology. Her research interests include Cosmopolitism, gender representation, and nation building in 19th century Puerto Rican literature; Access to cultural heritage archives; and the social construction of archives.
