Graduate Assistant, Digital Media and Design
Ryan Glista is a Graduate Assistant and MFA candidate in the Department of Digital Media & Design, where he enjoys growing as a filmmaker and artist. His primary areas of study are cinema and music production.
Ryan works as filmmaker and video producer across many UConn departments. His most recent work includes projects in collaboration with the Neag School of Education, the Institute for Collaboration on Health, Intervention, and Policy (InCHIP), the Korey Stringer Institute, UConn Bioblitz, the Women’s and Gender Studies Program, and University Communications. Ryan is also the founder and president of the UConn Film Club, teaching workshops in cinema production and leading teams of undergraduate students in producing short films. Ryan is also currently leading a collaboration between the university and the Bushnell Center for Performing Arts, and designing a promotional video campaign for the Department of Dramatic Arts. Ryan holds an Individualized B.A. in Film from UConn.
